Laser in Competition?
I've got a buddy and fellow Glock owner that I'm trying to recruit into GSSF. I'd like to get him to Lexington in October. He has a G26 with a laser attached. He doesn't want to use the laser in the competition but would like to avoid removing it. Would that fly or no?

Pretty sure he is going to have to take it off. You didn't say what model but a rail mount could be perceived as a "weight" same as a light and an internal would qualify as an aftermarket RSA deal. Is it that hard to remove?

The laser wasn't made by Glock, it wasn't shipped from Glock on the Gun, It IS NOT STOCK. The rules are very clear. It Is NOT legal in ANY GSSF Match period.

It would also be useless against 20 and 25 yard targets in the sunlight.

Nope. It is NOT Stock as per the rules in Paragraph 40.xx in vol. 1 of the Glock report. It specifically refers to the light for all stock categories. Please READ the rules.

I kinda thought so when I saw his little dancing red guy. I am having withdrawal since I have not shot a single round since the "D'ville" match in mid July and slowly getting to the final stages of mending from cataract surgery and the 9 million eye drops associated with it. Hoping to hear doc say I am cleared to go to Conyers when I have hopefully my last followup on the 18th.

Hopefully we will soon see. I know I can't shoot my dot gun unless I use my left eye for it, otherwise it's a big glob of 4 or 5 red dots all running together. So far dry firing at home it seems all my stock (Heinie) sights are clear and sharpe with my right eye and no corrective lenses. So guess we will see.

I was pretty sure you were. I know those Buckeyes since I was born in Springfield and grew up on Madison Lake just about 5 miles outside of London in Madison County. Still have family in Columbus and Grove City.
