After going almost snowblind and having a bad case of cabin fever, It feels like Spring has arrived - and I took advantage of the day!
Took the tried and true Sig P229 out and blew the dust off. Put 150 rounds thru it today - the 84th,85th,and 86th load through this pistol. Today I shot a box each of:
Middle Creek Shooting Supply - 124g - FN (RL)
Miwall - 124g - TMJ (RL)
Parabellum Research - 147g - FMJ (value line)(RL)
Had one minor hiccup with the Miwall - on one magazine, after the last round fired, the slide locked back but the round did not completely exit the gun(??). It was out of the chamber... and when I dropped the mag, it fell out through the receiver. Other than that, it was flawless.
This marks over 6,000 rounds of 357Sig thru this pistol ending today at 6,110 (also have a few rounds of 40S&W thru it).
In my best Hickok45 voice - "Life is Good!"
