That is a stack, can't you see it? I know what you mean though. When I left, they had dip tanks, we didn't even have to clean our rifles after a day at the range.

Would you treat your weapon like that if it was your personal property?
BTW, what accessory rails do you guys use?

They look well used, but I'm shocked they get dumped in a heap like that.

They're tools. You should see the one that had shrapnel embedded in the lower from our last deployment.

Who cares about finish and a little rattle. Do they hold zero and function properly? Now that's what matters. Giving a guy crap over something that means absolutely nothing is stupid. From the concern over fit and finish maybe he should be questioning your ability running such a rifle.
We need a "user" and seperate "collector" black rifle forum.

Yeah, its not going to hurt ARs to pile them on top of each other, they can handle much more abuse than that.
Who cares about scratches anyways? Just a sign that the rifle has been used, and works good.

seeing all those PEQ-15's makes me a little sad.
<----Rocks the only IR laser in his unit, and its a personally owned PEQ-2.

My M4 was new right out of the box when issued.
3 years later the left side finish was worn shiny in two spots from where it rubbed on my armor when slung.
We had PAQ-4's and then PEQ-2s for everyone, but only about 2/3 of us actually had any experience using them.

we had PEQ-2's but we were told to turn them in for PEQ-15's pre 08-09 deployment.
Never materialized. We fell in on some PEQ-2's and PEQ-15A2's in 10-11, but they were TDA, and stayed behind when we left.
One of those "we don't need them" supply guy issues. Untill something happens, command won't unfrick supply. After it does, it'll be too late.

I never shirk from cleaning a weapon, and rather enjoy it, to be honest.
But that....
....that's waaaay too much of a good thing.
