There have been several car break ins and thefts in my comdominium neighborhood recently; given the detereorating times (with 'no end in sight').

I put on a loose unbuttoned shirt when answering door. I am also fairly prepared to deal with someone kicking in the door.

I can produce the weapon (via your 'knife edge') and fire accurately in about one second of time - if ever 'held up' at close range and the bad guy is armed with gun or blade, there is no guarantee at all that he won't shoot or stab you, anyway. I am practising to sweep his gun hand to one side, while drawing.

Do you consider this 'paranoia' or preparing for predatory 'vigilance?'

Also wish to know what you think - considering that the stock market is not viable and the low intererest from money in the bank: what I've been hearing from more than one person; saying that 'Gold, guns & ammo' is the way to go - for financial investment and security...
