On a semi related note, how do you like that Solar Tactical magwell?

On my SGL31-94, no - I don't. I don't see that it helps me all that much. I'm going to order another one to put on a 7.62x39 rifle and see how they compare side by side.

Thanks for this review. I was hoping someone would show it on a Draco, so extra points for that. Just subbed to the Facebook page. Keep up the good work.

Good review, cool invention, I'd get one if I wasn't left handed!

If I still owned an AK style firearm, I would buy that.

I'm not an AK snob. If it's a useful upgrade, then I'm in. Just like the notch cut into the safety lever. It's an improvement. We are years past 1947. It's okay to bring it up to date.

Yup, it's a neat product. I've become fond of it on my rifle.

Looks like a great addition to an AK if you're looking for ambidextrous control.

I really like that idea. Does it work on a Yugo M70 I wonder.

On A side note, you're not worried about scuffing the paint job on your AK with all that dirt?

It wouldn't. Yugo dust covers are not interchangeable with other AKs.

I assume this will fit a Saiga 12? I don't like rolling it as heavy as it is.

I believe that top cover would be great on a AK pistol.

I take it this is not compatible with an optics side mount?

It does look like a nice product albeit a bit pricey.

It would work fine, as long as no Optic is mounted.......

Side mounted optics are still usable on the rifle, you just have to use the regular charging handle while they're installed.

Thanks for the review. BTW, my wife hates you now.
I don't think this would fit on an ak pistol. You may have cost me 240 dollars you bastig.

He shows it working on an SBR'ed draco, which is what I plan on doing, so it works there. If a normal topcover fits so should this.

I have to say, that if there were a competition for best AK part produced in a year, this would be my vote!
