Perhaps too general of a question. I was shopping around today and bought a Glock 19. 499.00 I'm curious if there
is any feedback on what Glocks cost in other places other than the gun friendly state I live in here in USA. I know
many countries you can't buy handguns. Anyway if you've
seen this info I'd be curious to know. Thanks.

In Canada it's usually about $730-890 (depends on the model) for the civilians and $550-690 for LE personnel. Sometimes less, but that's the pricing we are facing up here.

About 650 euros (US$ 835) for a G17 gen4 out the door in Austria. It took me about 30 minutes online to find out how much a G17 costs over there. Most people in Europe don't like to talk about guns. It's that bad over there.

Around $1000 for other models.

it depends on the custom duty of that country and also the red tape. most countries have a duty from 30% to 100%. Handguns are restricted in most countries and civilians generally have to get a license to purchase, which comes from the government and this is where the red-tape/bribes comes into place. I know too most countries only issue a .32 cal to civilians and you can get a 9mm and higher caliber upgrade to certain special class of people.

It is also very interesting that the covernment of most European countries don't like armed citizens, especially not the middle class people, because the covernment doesn't trust them. It is very hard to purchase a handgun in those countries and impossible to obtain a concealed weapons permit because the covernment thinks you don't need one when you get shot, beaten to death, stabbed, burned, or your home gets invaded by nice men with a flame thrower from the east block and other very nice countries. You are not allowed to kill someone in a self defense situation, not even if it's the last resort to defend your live or the lives of your family. YOU will go to prison if you kill someone to defend your live. You don't go for a long time to prison, maybe for one to two years, but you will disappear for a while.

Politicians, business people and other VIP's which live under constant fear of course are able to obtain a concealed weapons permit, but no "regular" people.

The average European covernment thinks that the lives of VIP's is worth more than the lives of average people.

I know, this is the case in some US states as well, but one can at least move to another state to flee from the liberals. And if we have another four years of this, then we all take a big step towards Europe. A lot of our rights will be gone if he gets reelected. I don't think he will spare us like he did in the first term. He is against a armed society, he always was.

probably < 10,000 pesos for legally acquiring one from sedena. one is limited to the two .380 models though.

Which Glock are you allowed to buy? I'm thinking nothing smaller than a 34/35?

The most popular model is 17 followed by 22 and 21 I believe.
If You want something smaller it will require a new, extended barrel, but the models 34 and 35 are pretty popular as well.

Here in Uruguay, the range is from $ 1050 (Gen3 G17, G19) to $ 1300 (Gen 3 G34, Gen 4), depending on the model.
$ 1070 for a G26, and $ 1150 for the compensated variants of the G17 and G19.
