Lead bullets under attack

Drudge Report-Lucianne.com-it would appear that if "O" gets back into the big house that once again Lead used as bullets and sinkers will no longer be in vogue. They would be added to the "Toxic Materials Law Bill", which would put many businesses out of business, and will be just another blow to the law abiding citizen, shooter and reloader. Vote Democrat and get a free phone, birth control, food stamps, welfare and ride the tit forever...

THe EPA is already pushing this agenda. The lead WW will be gone in another 2-3 yrs. Lead bullets have already been banned in parts of Kalif, the test bed for all bad legislation. So I would be collecting what I could now, chepa free lead will be gone sooner than later.
Just another reason to pull your head & your friends heads out of their collective rear ends & vote for Romney. Yes I am talking to the Paul supporters. I don't care if you like him, there is quite a lot at stake in another Obama unchecked admin. If anyone fails to see that, turn in your guns, you are truely to stupid to be trusted w/ anything more than a squrit gun, which BTW, is Obama's foreign policy answer to the middle east in flames.

We can only Pray it would be in the form of a bill, there is no way that will fly.

It will be done unconstitutionally, through the EPA.

It's already been done w/ the lead ww. There was no legislation, just an edict from the present dick in office. This is the part everyone that loves Obama is missing. It's not just him, it's the incrediblly inept, stupid & corrupt people he has running everything.

Guys-

There is legislation pending in the US senate that would prevent this -- from the NSSF website:

The Sportsmen's Act is a package of 19 separate bills including the majority of sportsmen's legislative priorities in this Congress. (See below for an overview of the components of the bill.) A similar package of bills -- the Sportsmen's Heritage Act of 2012 (H.R. 4089) -- was passed by the House in April by a bipartisan vote of 276 to 146. Eventual passage of this unprecedented pro-sportsmen's legislation will promote, protect and preserve our nation's hunting, shooting and conservation heritage for generations to come.

But you must act now! The Senate can consider this important procedural vote at any time. Anti-hunting forces are aggressively trying to block the Senate from even considering the Sportsmen's Act. So act now, call your U.S. Senators at 202-224-3121 and urge them to vote YES on this important step in getting the bipartisan Sportsmen's Act the vote it deserves after the election.

Sportsmen's Priorities in the Sportsmen's Act:

The Hunting, Fishing and Recreational Shooting Protection Act -- Specifically excludes ammunition and fishing tackle from the Toxic Substances Control Act, preventing unnecessary regulations that could devastate hunting, shooting, conservation funding and the firearm and ammunition industries.

Making Public Lands Public -- Requires that the 1.5 percent of annual Land and Water Conservation Fund funding is made available to secure public access to federal public land for hunting, fishing, and other recreational purposes.

Target Practice and Marksmanship Training Support Act -- Makes Pittman-Robertson funds available to states for a longer period of time for the creation and maintenance of shooting ranges. The bill encourages federal land agencies to cooperate with state and local authorities to maintain shooting ranges and limits liability for these agencies.

Call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121 to urge your senators vote YES in procedural support of the actual vote later this fall on the Sportsmen's Act.

I know Harry Reid is a dirt bag, but he is pushing this forward - probably to get John Tester re-elected in Montana - before the election. Be worth a call to your senator to support this.

It won't matter if hussein is re-elected. None other than Bill Clinton, blessed be He (sarcasm), passed the work requirement into welfare regulations as a matter of law, and hussein just ignores it.

Notice the guy from CHina in the back. He's saying. "I can't believe that idiot is bowing to a guy in a dress?. Never trust guys that wear funny hats. Just a personal rule of mine. Left handed people should also be looked at w/ suspision. Wait a minute, both CLinton & Obama are left handed, hmmm. If you truely are undecided consider this: Obam has two girls & Romeny has 5 boys. This may explain a lack of balls our current resident of the WhiteHouse has for doing anything meaningfull. Mr. I voted present when I was in the senate.
I could go on, but I think I am probably preaching to the choire here. Still, convert at least one Obama voter from 08, shouldn't be that hard, take them to the polls, get this guy out of office. We all deserve a better country than he is leaving our children.

I have to have faith in our citizenry. Yeah, i get it vote for a black president, it's historical, fine. Now he's prven he's not capable, just look at his first decision to choose Biden as his VP. Every single person he has appointed has been a disaster in running their agencies. It's time for a professional business person to come in & do what needs done, slash govt spending & waste. I have yet to see ANY govt run agency at any level actually do what they are paid to do & do it well. We are heading for a Greece like implosion, sooner than later, ignoring that is frickin miopicly stupid.
To consider; interest rates are at less than 1% & the interest on our debt is $250B a yr. Raise rates only to 3%, we will be paying $800B in interest a year & getting absolutely nothing for it in return. It has to stop & it will NOT under another OBama regime. The gun control stuff is important, but that should not be what is driving the vote right now. It's $6T in spending over just 4 yrs & getting nothing for it, madness.
If you are an independent, bless you, but throwing your vote away on Gary Johnson or Ron Paul is like voting for Obama, neither of those dudes are going to win. Seriously, think about the next 10yrs, not next year. This country can NOT afford 4 more years of Obama & another $6T in dept spending. You think it's been bad, wait until that happens.

Exactly right. Not to mention the irreversable harm when one or more Supreme Court justices are appointed after the inevitable retirements. Another couple Elena Kagans or "wise Latina" Sonia Sotomayors and we will be irreparable changed forever. We might not all love Romney, but we must at least slow the bleeding. Obama must be sent home.

Oh, I agree with you Fred, but there are plenty in this Choir that do not and continue to support Obama and his Socialist agenda.

Quote:

Sorry, no faith here.
47% of America is on entitlement programs. Who do you think they will vote for? That's right, the guy that will give them a raise and more free handouts.

Of the remaining 53% a huge percentage are public employees and members of Public Employees Unions. Who do you think they will vote for? That's right the guy that will get them a raise and the guy they are told to vote for by their Union.

Then there are those in their twilight years on fixed income that have been scared into believing that the Evil Republican will take away their SS and send them out in the cold to freeze and starve to death. Who do you think they will vote for? That's right the guy with the turbine that will protect them for the Evil Republican party.

Lets not forget the Ron Paul nut jobs that are doing their best to split the Republican vote ensuring another Obama victory.

Last there is ACORN, The MSM, voter fraud and the Soros owned vote tallying network.

Today's Faith is nothing more than wishful thinking. Kinda like having faith that you will win the Power Ball Lottery.

Would you guys really have us believe that Mitten, and the corporate masters who bought him (Exxon, United Health Care, J.P. Morgan, etc.) really give a damn about my freedoms and constitutional rights?

Do you really think big oil, health care/pharma, and Wall Street give two hoots about my Second Amendment rights???

Puuleeeeze.....
