USBP are on the "front lines" of our borders every day, keeping the country secure from vicious thugs. I can't think of any more dangerous assignments than that in the US right now.

Kind of like on the internet forums - People continually flip someone off who they know is obligated to not break the rules in response. Yeah, that type of stupidity eventually yields the rewards it earns.

Tears me up everytime one of my green brothers dies. Reminds me of the ones I knew were lost. When they call out the star number for the last time after taps, it's really hard to keep that composure. But, you have to remember no matter what you are feeling, their familes feel it 100 times over. My payers are with the family. I'll never get past the little boy with his mother with that 1,000 yard stare. Everytime I hear of one of these deaths, it brings back some pretty painful memories. Words can't adequately express.
