thisaway... Congrats on your new Colt. Did you buy that gun new? The only reason I ask because your serial # indicates it being a few years old, and if I'm not mistaken your gun was involved in a recall. I could be wrong but maybe check the Colt site or call them up. I have the same model and I seem to remember that my ser# CG115xxx was just after the recalled ser#'s. Good luck, you will enjoy your Colt.

Thanks for the help with the pics, Brian. All I have is my Droid 4 phone cam, and it is a bit limited.

GOOFA,
I bought the pistol "used, test-fired only" from a gent in Austin. There is a letter included with it stating that it has been returned to Colt for the warranty service, and the pistol has a small stamp on the trigger guard that Colt states denotes such.

Bought a blued Commander in June and a Gold Cup Trophy last week.
Love how perfectly they've fed. Zero issues.
