G19e?
I thought I would throw up a few pictures of a new project I finally finished up. I have been doing a ton of grip chops on 17 down to 19's leaving the backstrap flush with the magazine base. I very much like the way the grip feels on them, but I prefer the 19/23 slide size. So I decided to try out something on my 19 to see if I could achieve the same result. The end result is a 19/23 grip with the backstrap extended flush with the magazine base pad. Thinking about calling it the grip "E" mod = extension.
I will offer this modification as soon as I can work out the details on it. It took me a while to get it done as I was only working on it a little bit at a time. As soon as I iron out the details I will post it up on the website.
Here are the pictures or it didn't happen thing....

That is amazing work. I like it a lot, and I bet it does feel great. It's the same concept as the S&A one piece mag guides (MSH) for the 1911. I'd definitely be in for it.

Wait, wait...there's no hole!
You're going to kill the plug vs. anti-plug controversy!!
(Actually...it looks great! Nice job!)

Your G19 looks good. I never understood losing two rounds from a G17 and not having as much to grip. That extra .47" of barrel on a G17 makes little difference in a defensive situation.

It's Critical Duty. We are issued Remington GS for duty, but off duty we can carry whatever we want.

Can same be done to a gen 4 without losing any grip circumference? I realize I'll lose ability to use backstraps but that's a non issue for me...where the gen 4 grip circumference is perfect for me, I still want to send it to you for some work....

It shouldn't be a problem for the 4th gen. As you stated you would loose the ability to use the backstraps, and the work area would need to be textured, but other than that shouldn't be any different than the 3rd gens.
