Gen 3 21sf VS Gen 4 21
Help,
I'm suppose to buy a Gen 3 21sf tomorrow but now have been told I can get an even smaller grip size on a Gen 4 21 glock. Can I get some feedback by tomorrow 10/09/12 at 10 am EDT from peole who have held both? I would be extremely thankful for any guidance in this matter.

The SF G21 is has the same dimensions as the Gen 4 G21 with no backstrap. There are some differences between each, such as the grip texturing, the mag release size, and the dual recoil spring assembly.

I can't feel or measure any real difference in grip size between the SF and Gen4 grips.
That said, the reasons I would go for the Gen4 are: the mag catch is easier to reach/use, the recoil spring assembly is improved and appears to help handle recoil a bit better, and the grip surface works better for me....less 'slippery'. Another some people would go for the Gen4 is that the grip can be made bigger.

I have owned a gen2 G21, gen3 G21sf and gen4 G21. The gen4 is the best in my oppinion. The grip texture is better than the previous generations, the magazine release is larger and easier to opperate and the new RSA design seems to tame the recoil more then the previous generations. I do however like the slide finish better on the gen3.

I have both.
For some reason, the Gen 4 grip feels "smaller". I have giant hands, but really like that grip.
All my Glock pistols will be Gen 4's one day.

I had the Gen 3 21SF and sold it because, unlike any other Glock I owned at the time, my shots were well off POA, even at 7-10 yards. The Gen 4 21 that I have had for several months now has been perfect and I like it for all the same reasons that others have said above.

Gen 3 sf 21 VS Gen 4 21
WOW...thank you guys. If I have a glock question this is the place to come. Tomorrow I purchase a Gen 4 21. Ill let you all know what I think of it once I've fired it a couple of hundred times.
Again, thank you all.
