My favorite full sized 9mm was my Sig P226. What a sweet shooter. I will have another!

I love BHPs, but they don't love me, as hammer bite is my constant companion.
The Sig P228 is an absolutely awesome 9mm, but not my favorite.
My S&W 6690, on the other hand, is the only 9mm I just can't bring myself to part with. Every time I consider trading or selling it, the urge leaves me within 30 seconds. It's a transition gun between the 2nd generation 669 and the 3rd generation 6906. It's more accurate than anything I've ever shot, reliable as Sunrise, and it ain't made of plastic.
With fewer than 900 made, you just don't come across them a lot. I think it's a keeper.

Definetly a Beretta 92 FS for me. IMO every bit as reliable as a Glock, and better looking too!

My Browning Hi-Power. My duty weapon as a Deputy Sheriff over 30 years ago. Without hesitation or reservation. Used Super-Vel ammo and the Hi-Power never failed me.

M&P9. I like it better than the G17, M6, and CZ75.

CZ 85 Combat followed by BHP (mostly because 9mm BHP was just a bit too small for my hands).

I have to give two answers:
polymer = PPQ
All metal = CZ 75

I'm in the market for a new pistol and leaning real hard to the Beretta 92.
I'll have to sit and drool for a while--have insurance due in Nov and Christmas in Dec---so maybe around tax time:(

I HATE slide mounted safeties such as the beretta's, otherwise they are a fine pistol.

I'd have a really hard time deciding between a Beretta 92 and a Browning HP

Beretta made a few, very nice 92 variants with frame mounted safeties (Steel I, Billenium, Combat). Unfortunately, the prices were out of sight.
