Last Police Magazine (September 2012 edition) - Interesting . . .

Anyone read the results of the Election poll they took (in which I participated, in full disclosure)? Like the military poll released today, overwhelmingly for Romney.

Quote:
The number one answer Romney supporters chose for voting Republican in the upcoming election was "I oppose Obama's policies" at 67%.
Quote:
. . . the vast majority of respondents tended to be conservative. Only 10% of respondents support Democrat Barack Obama's bid for re-election
Naturally, I doubt any MSM outlet will broadcast that.

Begs the question: if Barry isn't elected, is your city prepared for problems from certain groups? I'd be surprised if there wasn't some agitation.

If the city is prepared (which I highly doubt) they are keeping it super secret from everyone...including us.

Definately not. We didn't have enough cops the night he illegally took the election.

We sure as hell don't have as many now.

Memphis could go either way. If Barry doesn't get re-elected, it's an excuse to riot and steal stuff. If he gets re-elected, it's an excuse to riot and steal stuff...

Obama the first time had many police supporting him. But once elected he bashed the police on many issues when facts were not known. From backing his Harvard buddy Gates and saying the police acted stupidly, to the Zimmerman Shooting where he ran his mouth and sent in the Fed when the facts were not even known, but he felt the police were wrong and idiots.

I noticed where I live that this time around there are more Romney/Ryan yard signs than when Bush ran (he had some good support). In Texas I think its 100% that Romney will win this state. Now Obama had strong support with signs when he ran last time, but this time its much less.

One trend we are seeing is Romney yard signs are being stolen, where none of the Obama ones seem to be reported or out of place.

I can not remember the Police Magazine poll from 4 years ago, but I think it was even or Obama had a lead (might have been a lead with Admin...). I get a few law enforcement magazines.

If some riots are the price to pay for Obama being kicked out of office, I believe it's acceptable. However, I will defend myself if the time comes.

Riot talk seems to be in the form of a threat from the media if we do not re-elect him to office. What have the media done for us for all these years.

I doubt they are. That's why i've been buying ammo and spare magazines each month. Just in case. I've also got vacation time saved up in case I have to take off to protect my home and family.

Its not so much the "voters angry that their candidate lost" type that i'm worried about. Its the thugs and thugettes that will join in just to loot, steal, burn, etc.

If you would have asked me 10 years ago or more if I was going to prep for rioting after a presidential election, I would have said you were nuts. Now, though, it would surprise me if there wasn't any rioting.

Yep, stock up for a few day's worth of unrest.

This. I don't expect too many problems in Lexington, given our overall demographic makeup. Louisville, Frankfort, and Cincinnati on the other hand...

Cut off foodstamps now, so O's supporters are too weak and malnourished to riot.

Sent from the Titanic. I named my phone "The Titanic" so when I plug it into the computer it says "The Titanic is syncing".

That would just mean they start the riot sooner.

Suck it. I hope the north end burns down on you....

If KSU was out for fall break, Frankfort would be fine. Here in Louisville, the west end will be where the fires start. Perhaps if they make their way to the jail (we have two major housing projects three blocks away), they'll let me go to the roof with my rifle and several hundred rounds of ammo.

On a personal level, my neighborhood should be fine.

Los Angeles might burn again. Not betting against it.

Wouldn't it make more sense to be prepared either way?

Always prepared, my brother. Always.

Just have to be more prepared though than what I am used to.
