Scope Recommendations Needed

I need some recommendations on what scope to put on my Savage 110 in 30-06. It will mainly be used for target shooting and maybe some deer hunting. My range is 100 yards so I think a 3x9x? will suffice. If possible, I would like to get something decent in the $200-$250 price range.

I have used the Nikon Monarch series the African series, P22, P223 and the Buck Master series scopes.
They are on everything from a 450 NE to a 22 LR. I have had zero problems. They maintain their zero. No fogging. The BDC retical with Nikons Spot on program is great.

I zeroed my muzzle loader at 100 yards. Drove to New Mexico to Elk hunt. I knew that the center of first ring was 137 yards. Mind you I had not shot past 100 yards and told my guide that I would like to be inside 150. When a good 6X6 (274 class ) presented me with a shot that ranged at 135 yards I centered the circle pulled the trigger and dead elk.

I hear people all the time say that a mil dot retical the first dot is 200 yards the second is 300 and so on, it just is not so. The Spot On program solves the mystery of ballistics.
