I'm torn.
I don't know what to think of this car, it is a 1968 Plymouth GTX,drop top, 440 4spd. On one hand it's the owners money and he can do anything he wants, on the other hand Superbird nose cones and spoilers are very hard to come by and this guy building this car took a nose cone and spoiler away from someone wanting to restore a real Superbird, it is a kool car though.

I don't like the look of the spoiler and nose on that car. I would have restored it original. I don't like molesting vintage cars

i'm not torn...that is sacrilege! cutting up a gtx to look like a superbird is proof of more money than brains.
how much damage did this clown do to a 68 gtx to live out his richard petty fantasy?
nothing like taking a car that has value, parts that have value, and combining them into a worthless mongrel.

My thoughts exactly. That car is so ugly it's beyond ridiculous. Like you said okie, he took away the nose and spoiler of a super bird, things that someone could actually use to make a cool car, and he put them on an already cool car. But I think he just made it look hideous.

I kind of like it. Much better than taking a Superbird and chopping it into a convertible.
I don't see how he ruined anything.

How do you know the nose cone and spoiler are real?
A guy I work with has a really nice 67 Mustang. He bought the entire body from a resto company that makes them. Not an original part except maybe the door handles.

The only thing he ruined was someone getting a chance at a nose and spoiler for a real Superbird
