Looking for a light weight tan shooting vest WITHOUT hundreds of pockets. And hopefully less than $50. Am i looking for a unicorn?

I will use it for local matches only. (non-idpa) thanks

I think you are.

I wear shooting vests almost every day, and a shooting vest without lots of pockets is just...a vest.

5.11 has a nice one (with lots of pockets) that comes in black or tan. However, they're about $80.

Check out the local garage sales. I picked up a down filled Eddie Bauer vest for $2 about twenty-five years ago that I still wear every cold weather night when I go on my long walks. It draws double duty for shooting if needed and I'm sure there are bargains out there just waiting to be picked up.
