There will always be more to replace him. I remember when Mitt Romney was labeled "RINO". GW Bush is one, but was given a pass because he was willing to start wars.

But when a republican dies, and people at Huffpo say the same kind of things, these same types of people will criticize them for wishing death on someone.

It's both sad and funny to see.

Exemplary, in fact. Nothing wrong with despising someone who's a traitor to his country as a leftist/statist subversive.

Good riddance.

You're dead on right. And along with Huffpo, the same sheet gets posted on dailykos, democraticunderground, ect. That krap and the rest of their juvenile act is one reason among many why I would never waste a KB there.

Just don't care for it on my side of the political aisle. Like his politics or not, (I don't), the guy stepped up and served as a Military Officer.

Pissing on graves in Arlington Cemetery isn't my style.

I've never seen the wisdom in celebrating someone's death, except for guys like Hitler, Stalin, Mao or Pol Pot. hate Spector of course but he was not like them.

Disagreeing with someone is one thing, but wishing death on them is another. Rabid partisanship is stupid and disgusting.

You are no better than those you oppose.

Too bad he couldn't find a way to take Orrin "At least I saved you half a loaf" Hatch or John "The Manchurian Canidate" McCain with him...

Maybe next time.

I once went to a Republican event for VP Dick Cheney and when Senator Specter came to the podium he was loudly booed, by Republicans! That was very rude.

The crowd loved Cheney.

One thing about Specter, he took care of Pennsylvania. If you had a problem you received an answer unlike with do-nothing Senator Casey. You just couldn’t trust Arlen.

Oh the love and compassion of the co called Christians is overwhelming! Where are people who in other cases profess "It does not matter how much you disagree with him. He is a veteran and you must show him respect him for his service."

Who wished death on somebody? Did I miss something? I don't think so. We're just not sad he's gone.

I respect his service. Other than that, his passing is no big deal to me.

He was worse. The other guys were at least honest about their evil. Spector tried to cover his up.

That said, no one gains by celebrating his death.
