France to Cover 100 Percent of the Cost of Abortions

Quote:
The French national health-care system is called Sécurité Sociale. It is currently running a $13 billion deficit, but President François Hollande has some ideas about a new direction for the program. For starters, in 2013, it will start covering the cost of abortion entirely. That’s right: If you get an abortion in France, the “government” will pick up the tab and it won’t cost you a dime.

Oh look, their socialist President is doing the same thing that our "moderate" President is doing.

Elective stuff needs to be paid for by the one that wants it, or they can do without. That goes for viagra and abortions.

I guess there is a silver lining. More liberals abort than conservatives. Voluntary eugenics. Not my fault, not my problem.

I have very little sympathy for self inflicted injury.

Insurance companies and the government pay for nothing

It is the taxpayers that pay for every fricking thing, so if you want 3,000 in birth control, abortions, hair transplants, hot tubs with pretty nurses, well you can get all that, but you will pay dearly for it. You have to wonder how anyone with a brain can expect to get$ 3,000 of birth control without the company charging you over $3000. for the benefit. Insurance companies charge you for your claims risks, plus costs.

For some bad risks, obamacare is better then winning the lottery, pay a few dollars, and have taxpayer suckers pay hundreds of thousands in claims. What happens in the free market, is the average person in good health gets tired of paying insane premiums when they are not getting hardly arything back, and drop the worthless policies. Once obama ruins the health care industry, you'll have no where else to go.

I do not want one penny of my tax money used to pay for abortions or contraceptives of any kind.

Sadly this is true. Morals aside, it is cheaper to pay for birth control than to pay for food stamps, medical care, welfare and education for the rest of the said deadbeats life.

Only once, then they're beheaded for it.

Yes, if they're replaced with radical Islamists. Not a huge difference, but still.

And I don't want one penny of mine to pay for a "war on drugs".

As long as half the nation approves of government spending on some things the government shouldn't be spending money on, it will spend on all things it shouldn't be spending money on.

Perfect. Two for the price of one. What's the problem?

Less Frenchmen, more Muslims. Progressives are so shmart.

The average savings per abortion in terms of child maintenance and other state benefits stretchig into the future dwarfs the cost of the abortion. As far as the state and the well being of most of its citizens is concerned it is better for children to be brought up in a loving and caring home than to be unwanted in a poor home. The majority of women do not want abortions and have them only in desperate circumstances. That is not a good situatio in which to bring up a child. It is far better for all concerned that abortion is made easy rather than hard.

Here in the U.S. 1 in 4 healthy pregnancies are aborted. In England, it's around 1 in 3 healthy pregnancies. I can't imagine how high it is in London among non-Muslims (it's 1 in 1.5 in NYC). The notion of abortions being rare is not true.

You can cover all kind of things when you tax your producers at 75 per cent of income. At least until they all leave, or say screw it and quit working so hard.

Just a few years ago, rich people were leaving Britain for France to escape high taxes. Now they're going back.
