Just a question...

Why does Colt insist on sticking those sights on EVERYTHING!

They are ridiculously tall,

What ever happened to their low profile sights?

I agree, but most anything Colt makes IMO, is just a base gun anyway.

The Colt low profile, or GI sights, are super small & rather worthless.

It's a Talo edition, so ask Talo why they spec those things.

Congrats. I've had mine for a year or so and find it is about perfect for carry, and it runs with all kinds of ammo. I had a little trigger work done, replaced the rear sight, and put on new stocks, but overall no complaints!

Very possible,.......I sold a few guns to fund the Rogers build.
Have been trying to get one built for a few years.

I do thank you Sir,.........but the credit goes to Chuck.
I simply told him what I would like to have done. He was able
to do everything I wanted, except the ball buts on the slide.
Minimal material due to the bushing less barrel.

My thanks also to SACS,......seems the factory barrel may have
been improperly fitted at the factory in 1993. Chuck called Dave,
explained the breach to hood fitment, a new bushing-less, ramped
barrel was on the way. In the end, only the slide & frame were used.

Front sight was sent out for the ampule install......hope to have it in hand soon.
