Totals so far.

So here's how this adds up so far (+1 or -1). Might not be dead accurate, but it's close. (Peeps keep chiming in.)

(I left off the gens, SF, L, C, etc. variations on the numbered model to keep this simple.)

G17 - 23
G18 - 0
G19 - 42
G20 - 17
G21 - 15
G22 - 8
G23 - 22
G24 - 0
G25 - 0 (somebody might own one.)
G26 - 18
G27 - 4
G28 - 0
G29 - 3
G30 - 6
G31 - 2
G32 - 1
G33 - 1
G34 - 3
G35 - 8
G36 - 0
G37 - 2
G38 - 1
G39 - 0

1st place goes to "the gun that can do it all." The Glock 19

2nd place goes to The original Glock 17.

3rd place goes to my personal choice the Glock 23. "The gun that can do it all and more."

The G26 wins the Sub Glock category and the G20 edges out the G21 in the Big Boy Glock division.

This is of course, just this far in the thread.

Glock 19 is the clear winner, though. Almost 2 to 1 over the closest challenger.

Here's a visual for those who don't like to read: (I left out the models with no votes.)

Interesting. Between red and blue, which do you prefer? Answer: Green!

Anyway, my vote is for the G32.

My Glock 20 SF !! What else ? If I could keep two, I'd keep my Glock 29 SF also. But the Glock 20 SF is my final answer.

Much as I enjoy shooting and like carrying my G-19(RTF2) it would be foolish of me not to choose one of my G-21's.

This past Saturday (the 27th) I used my G-19 at a local zombie shoot. Nothing was farther away than 15 yards; and, I used that little pistol to fire 173 rounds in slightly more than 8 minutes. There were several occasions when I returned the gun to the holster, burned my finger tips, and worried that the holster was going to melt from the extreme heat the slide and barrel were radiating!

So, talk about, 'a hoot'! Yeah, man, I'll probably never miss another zombie shoot; only next time I'm going to use my G-21. Usually I'm more accurate with the 45 ACP; but, inside 15 yards, I don't expect to see a big difference. I'm really glad that I don't have to choose between Glock 9's, and 45's. Truth is that I very much enjoy shooting the both of them.

My very first well researched and hard thought pistol was a G19. I own several models now, but would stick with this one...

G26, with a pearce +2 (or is it 3 and I just can't wedge the last round in?)

If I can have one gun and one spare barrel then G27.

Glock 17

My Glock 17 is a great all purpose gun with a nice light trigger pull. It is a Gen 4 model and has eaten everything I feed it like a hungry dog. It can be used for range practice, home defense and could be carried concealed if necessary. The 9 mm has less recoil so rapid fire is easier.

As much as I love shooting my g34. It would be one of my G22's. I have a conversion barrel and 9mm mags so it would be a true 2 for 1 glock.

G20. It's the one Glock I'd likely never sell.

3rd generation 23c, no too big not to small just the right amount of wallop and still a decent capacity.
But if I had to do over I doubt I would have a Compensated model for carry, slid gets too dirty inside after many rounds, flash in your face in the dark is not idea.

I also admit that a 9mm NATO round being more common might be a better choice for availability but I have seen the round not take down an attacking animal at point blank range with three hit and I lost confidence in the round, and yes they were HP.

Gen 4 G35 - enough barrel to reach out and touch someone/thing, and enough caliber to knock it down...permanently.
