Glock 26.

If I could only keep one gun, it would be my Glock 26.

My Gen3 Glock 30, without a doubt. It fits my fist perfectly. conceals nicely, and every round goes where I want it to. And if 10 rounds of .45 ACP won't do the job, I'm obviously in the wrong fight. My Gen 3 Glock 29 is a close second, but 10mm ammo is a little harder to find and a little more costly.

None. I got rid of all of my Glocks. I have no more need of them as I prefer just about any other platform to a Glock due to Glock's design faults. Glocks have failed to keep up with the state of the art and to upgrade their ergonomics. As a result there are much better platform out there with just as good, if not better, reliability and accuracy. I also prefer a gun that does not induce slide bite each and every time I use it. And before some moron tells me that I am holding it wrong, I am not, if I was I would not have made Glock Master standing in GSSF in just 5 entries, without practice and with borrowed guns.

If I had to chose, the 17L would stay with me... It was my original Tupperware gun, and still is one of my favorite range gun.

If my government would trust me to CCW (when I'm not wearing a government issued uniform)... I certainly would be adding a 23 to the vault...

Fave Glock - Gen. 3 Glock 20

I already have a great setup - G20 with .40 S&W and .357 Sig conversion barrels. Normally use the .40 barrel. It's great because you use the same mags.

Glock 35 in 357 Sig

My choice is the Glock 35 in 357 Sig. Utterly effective stopping power coupled with high capacity and phenomenal accuracy.

My second choice would be the Glock 34. Just a sweet shooter.

My third choice would be the Glock 23 in 357 Sig. Effective ccw.

One Glock, and I love it. Gen 2 G19, I may get a newer Gen down the road.

I would have said my G20SF but I no longer have it (stupid economy) .... so I'll have to answer my G29SF, no question about it.

I only have one Glock, so for me the answer is easy. But the reason I chose the G23 goes beyond it being the only one I own. There was a method to my madness back when I decided I should own at least one Glock, if for no other reason, than to be able to say, "I have a Glock".

I asked around on my favorite/home gun forum as to which Glock experienced Glock owners would choose if they were only going to buy one. The answers started pouring in, and it was during that time that I learned that some Glocks are capable of being multi-caliber with a simple barrel and mag change as the post above states. That decided it for me. At that time I still thought that the G23 was the only one that could convert in this manner. So that's the one I chose, and promptly began acquiring the two extra bbls and a slew of mags for all 3 calibers. I also intended to pick up a .22 lr conversion for it at some time in the future, but have yet to do so at this time.

I now have a G23 SF with 9mm & .357 Storm Lake conversion bbls and dozens of mags. I have a medium size Midway USA Range bag full of the 3-in-1 Glock kit. With all mags loaded and ready to rock and roll. A heavy bag, but a lot of pistol firepower in a convenient, "to-go" kit.

I purchased the pistol and kit in early 2009, and have yet to change from the stock .40 S&W bbl. According to the log, I have fired 568 rounds with a single FTE during the first 150 range trip. I am very satisfied with the pistol and really like it, even though I am admittedly an "XD" man. I really should try out the 9mm and .357 Sig bbls just to make sure they function as reliably as the .40 bbl.

BTW, does anyone know exactly how many Glocks have the capability to switch to other calibers? Link to such a list perhaps?

If could keep only one of my 3 Glocks, I would choose my Gen 4 22. I love the size, the feel and the accuracy. My second choice my 26 and my third my 36. They're all great but the 22 is in my nightstand next to the bed!

I can only keep one? :"-( It would have to be my Gen 4 G26 with the CT LG-436 Laserguard. It took me a while to jump onto the Gen 4 bandwagon but once I started with a Gen 4 G34 for IDPA and then I actually compared my older G26 against the Gen 4 G26 side-by-side it was no contest for me. The ergonomics of the Gen 4 just fit my hand so much better. If I could only keep one it would be the one that keeps me company every day in an IWB holster (but I would never really keep just one would I?)

Glock Pick

My go to pistol is my Gen 3 Glock 19 with night sights.

Plenty of good ammo available, easy to shoot and enough magazine capacity to handle most situations.

Is anyone doing a running count of the models chosen?

26

I only have a 26 and 27. If I could only keep one, it would be the 26 because it is a touch more controllable, but the main reason would be because it is pretty darn accurate. Actually it's one of my more accurate handguns.
