It is 74 outside right now, but inside it is about always hotter. I left the thermostat on 72. Noticed it getting a little warm and I come out, thing says it is 75 and is actually set to 83
It has been doing this for the past few days and I thought I was in a passive aggressive war
but I'm the only one here right now.
It did this once before and a change of batteries (or just powering it off) seemed to have fixed it.
72 to 83, you won't see one of those old turning kind do stupid crap like that.
