About to have a Glock in the collection again

I'm really fond of S&Ws, particularly Smith revolvers, but it's time to bring a Glock home again. I looked at a Gen 3 23 and a Gen 3 22 at the LGS this evening. Both in awesome condition, complete with their boxes, paperwork, and normal accessories, for $415. I'm sure I can get the price down at least another $15 or $20.

The big dilemma for me is, the 23 or the 22? I've owned both models before, and like them both. The grip on the 22 fits my rather meaty hands a little better than the 23, but I'm not sure it's a deal breaker. For me, they both carry well, which will be it's primary purpose. Unfortunately, finances dictate only one for now.

So, go ahead and give me your opinions and let's see where this goes.

I was recently in your situation. Small differences being i was looking at the comparable 9mm models, and it was my first glock purchase.
My primary use was ccw and a great range gun. For my body type (5'10 170lbs) I felt like the extra 1/2 in on the grip would affect conceal-ability, so I went with the 19 and couldn't be happier.
If either one conceals the same for you, I say go with the G22. A better grip for you - along with more capacity.

I bought a Gen4 G23 and love every second of it. Fits my hands perfect, and I like the .40 a lot.

As for carrying, I have no problems with the G23 (6'0, 200lbs)... Conceals well under a t-shirt with a IWB, and also conceals well OWB with a sweatshirt/coat.

My vote goes to the 23, really close to the comfort of a G22, but easier to conceal.

Edit: The G23 was my first Glock purchase, and I have no regrets in buying it.

I think you have answered your own question.

Yeah, but what fun is that?
