G26 Finger Pinch with extended mags
I have a 4th Gen G26 on its way to me, including some of the Extended mags that let my little finger fit on the grip instead of under it.
Recall that when I once had this set up before, the mag "pinched" my hand .... anyone else have this problem and a solution for it ?
Thanks

Some use a #17 O-ring around the bootom of the mag. You may need to double check that number.

Very lightly bevel the top edge of the G26 baseplate.
The edge is rather sharp, causing the pinch between it & the grip.
Use sand paper or a small file,..........it's a free fix.

Had the same issue and just switched to the gap base plates. No more pinching.

just use a knife and "carve" off the sharp points on the front top of the baseplates, make it sort of rounded instead of pointy. i do that to all my extended baseplates before I even shoot them now. You could use a file or sand paper too.

I have this problem with my G27 and Pearce grip extensions. I have been using adhesive tape on my llittle finger where it gets pinched.

Just shot a G26 and G27 with the pierce extenders. For some strange reason, the G26 tore up my pinkie and left a blood blister.

I have had a problem with my pinky getting pinched when shooting my 26 gen 4. I'm glad to see this thread. I thought I just had wimpy fingers! I've tried tape, but I'll try the "o" ring and sanding the edge.

Thanks for posting this thread, I have the same issues with my Gen 4 26. I've just been learning how to move my pinky quick when doing my reloads.

You getting pinched during reloads or while shooting? I have a recent G26 Gen 3 and three 12 rounders and have put several boxes through it so far. No pinching and my hands aren't all that tough anymore.

Mine happens during my IDPA matches when I am reloading. It didn't happen with my gen 3... only happens with my gen 4. I have noticed it (sometimes) even just putting the mag in before I shoot.

Just do some pushups, and you'll be ok. Try switching to Murphy's or Guinness. Maybe drop the mixers for the liquor as well. Get rid of the shaving cream too.

Since is a Gen 4, could be the way the Gen 4 mags fit a little looser, due to the ambi cut. Just a thought.

I'm moving to the Glock OEM + extensions away from the Pierce extensions. The Pierce would pinch my finger as well, but no problem with the Glock "+" extensions. The added round for the G27 is a nice addition.
I was going to originally buy the Glock + ext back when I bought the gun, but the gun store idiot talked me out of it. The sales woman claimed she had attended the Glock Armors course and was told the Glock + magazine extension would reduce reliability of the magazines. I was skeptical when she told me this and believe it even less now.
Here is the best deal I have found on Glock OEM + extensions. I think the owner of this company is on Glock Talk. He was an advertiser here or still is.

The people who use the GAP plates seem to love them. Very common recommendation here on GT.
