Interesting.

What struck me the most was the correct pronunciation of "saiga". It's a personal pet peeve of mine when people say "sayguh" like the video game system.

This version might be higher quality than the You Tube version.

http://rt.com/programs/documentary/k...-origins-made/

I saved both and this one is a much larger download.

I went onto you tube to find the BSG web series and saw a vid on the front page with an AK; clicked on it and found it interesting. I have no idea what they are saying or the context but it appears to be a Russian documentary about their military and PD weapons. One clip appears to be range time with full auto AK's holding pretty good groups.

I was going to post on this forum but found this thread and it seems appropriate. If anyone can speak the language I am curious what this is about.

Not sure, but this rifle looks like the next Russian production AK: the AK-12

After watching the video- it probably is not the AK-12, although very similar in appearance; great video!

I'm pretty sure it's an AK-103. Could be wrong though.

You could just buy a sgl21, or sgl21-94 if you have to have a folding stock, and put the tacticool accessories on it. That's what I did.

have had my SGL21 for almost a year and half now, with just under 5000 rounds through it. Went the tacticool route, ended up being annoying.

Switched back to almost stock, G2 trigger, Krebs peep sight, VLTOR MIl spec buffer tube adapter and magpul stock.

I'm with you: I have gone as tactical as I am gonna go. I now have a folding stock and a way to mount a red dot & light... I'm done
