I did a search and looked around the site and couldn't find anything so forgive me if i missed it.

I know people turn 35s into 9mm with a barrel and extractor swap but can you make a 34 into .40 by doing the same? Is the slide the same for both with just the barrel, extractor and maybe spring different?

Thanks for any info. I have a 34 now and was going to buy a 35 but this thought popped into my head.

Nope 40 is larger and will not fit in the slide. You can change the slide and ejector to that of the 35.

Thanks. That was my other option I was thinking about in doing just a 35 top end and using the 34 lower. No rush though so I got time to figure it out.
