Since that the gun is based on the Colt Mustang...I'd dare say that it isn't in the M1911 family.

Seemed to me the poster was looking to be offended. To me BAC did not come across as critical or contrite in any way.

I was thinking the same thing. I feel like the OP was asking for it. Bac didnt come off as offensive. Tell the other guy the tampons fell out of his purse.

Well, there's 1911s, 1911-A1s (do Colt Gold Cups, 1991s and Commanders count? ) and then there's the 1911 "family and related friends"; and apparently, there are some people (but not the OP) who get their knickers in a twist rather easily... muahaha
I mean, is a Norwegian 1914 a 1911? Or an Argentine 1927? Technically no and maybe yes?
But it is a nice little collection as noted.

I think BlueTrain's post was the most "offensive" of the bunch. You were just calling it like it was. You didn't have to tell him it was a nice collection, but you did anyway.

I'm not a member there......may be a good thing.
Seems some people over there have been sitting on the beach
without knickers on.

Yeah, BlueTrain's was definitely worse and I din't agree with what he said.
However, my comment started it. I couldn't resist. There is no way the Sig P238 is a 1911.

Thanks, my friend.
I'm not asking for backup, but I appreciate the gesture. I just wanted to see everyone's reaction here. Some of these other forums are ridiculous.

There is NO way a sig p238 is a 1911 lol.
You were quite justified there, my friend. Good think I'm not a member there either. I was on PAFOA for a while, but moved over to here.

Yep, the Sig P238 is as much a 1911 as a Sig SAO P220. Both are nice guns, but not 1911s.
