Marion county, KY Officer down

All I have is a brief email. Deputy shot and killed on a traffic stop. This is near to me - I have hunted near there, and was just down there with the wife about a month ago.

Will link more when I get updates. Sucks to go to a funeral this close to the holidays.

Kind of like on the internet forums - People continually flip someone off who they know is obligated to not break the rules in response. Yeah, usually that type of stupidity eventually yields the rewards that are earned.

And then there are those trying so hard to be offended that they're imagining things that haven't even been said in a thread.

Hey Russ,

I think what made this all the more real for me was when I saw the date on your new avatar, then looked at my calender/clock thing on the compy, and saw they were the same. Wow....

I'm in Monroe County...this isn't that far from me. It's hard for me to think I spent the day in Glasgow and Bowling Green when all this was going on...

Props to all you guys who put your lives on the the line while most of us in the general public are sadly oblivious to it.
