Ati fx 45
Just walked into a shop browsing while waiting for my next customer to be ready. Brand new they had it listed for 520, plus tax and ncis. Good price? Good gun? This would be a first 1911 purchase. Guys in the store seemed decent too. Believe it was the gi model as well

I haven't priced them in nearly two years, but they are the best 1911s from the Philippines, in my opinion.

They only had 2 1911 that I recall. The other was a .22 for 330. From what I see now that I am home is themsrp is 499

And also, does that mean it is a good firearm to purchase, minus the price?

If Brian says it's the best Phillipean gun I wouldn't hesitate to pay an extra $20.00 over suggested retail. He is the man of 1911's. Go for it!

When I was shopping for a Filipino pistol, I looked at the Titan FX (equivalence to the Colt Officer's ACP) and the Military 1911 (equivalence to the Colt Commander).
I was very impressed by the fit & finish of the Titan FX, and the trigger pull was ridiculously nice. Crisper than potato chip with just a bit of slack.
I went with the other one because I wanted a Commander size.

Got one, Carry it every day. It's a great weapon for the price.
