SR22 purchase

I just bought the SR22. Went to LGS to compare M&P22 and SR22. I thought I was going to get the M&P but really liked the way the Ruger felt. I think both are great pistols.

The SR22 is very compact and that is what I wanted.
I have MKII's,41's and a Buckmark.
Wanted something smaller to carry fishing and to plink with.

Also found out it fits really secure in a Walmart/Crossman $5 holster that also holds extra mag.

Shot CCI minimags 60rnds.
Federal 550 bulk redbox 100rnds.
Federal 325 target 325rnds.
Had one round I had to strike a second time to fire.
And had one round toward the end(dirty ramp) not feed
all the way when releasing slide on new mag. Just slid forward by hand and it fed next nine with no problem.
Wiped off ramp with finger and shot the rest of ammo with
no failures.
Fun gun to shoot.

The holster does have a thumb break snap, it also has a
quick release snap on the same strap.
I will try to post a pic.

It really is not a thumb break, but can be unsnaped with one hand
and then drawn. Not a quick draw holster.

You are going to love that SR-22 my co-workers buy them 2 at a time they love them so much. They are more reliable then the Walther P-22 though they look a like.

The only thing I don't like about the SR22 is the price of extra magazines!!!

Loads of fun! Mags, when you can find them, are 25 to 40 bucks.
