Prayer...
I know a lot of you are not followers of Christ, so this will not relate to you.
I am not really a post your prayer requests on forums kind of guy, but my wife has had an infection in her lungs for months, and cannot shake it. She is starting a second round of meds yesterday, but I do not see any improvement. Indeed, she is getting much worse. She called off work today which is not something she makes a habit of.
Thanks!

Thanks! She took a round of antibiotics and has been using an inhaler. Still nothing, so they gave her another round. If that does not do it I am not sure what their plan will be.

Last year my wife was having some of the same problems. I was praying and asking for The Lord to heal her. I didn't want to lose her. Praise The Lord he saw it was good for her to recover.
I would be glad to pray for your wife also.

Another wish for a speedy recovery. I'm prone to lung problems myself and know how painful they can be.

I hope she can get better ArrowJ. I have asthma and caught some virus on a large jobsite in early 2008 that really nailed my lungs. The Dr told me it was not pneumonia but gave me prednisone and that cleared it up after a few days. Prednisone is a pretty rough cortico steroid so it is not given out except in bad cases. I don't know if it would help in your wife's case but it might be worth asking about.

That is what they gave her, twice. She seems to be feeling a little better today, but missed another day of work which is just unheard of for her. Now myself and three of my four kids are sick with a cold...my fourth in as many months, getting old. Hell for me would be eternity suffering from a cold, with never ending hiccups while opening a steady stream of magazine subscription warnings for dues I paid two months ago.
