I don't even know what to say...

God didn't protect those kids because we kicked him out of schools?

Seriously, how do you not see the obvious rebuttal coming? "So bad things never happened to kids in schools before we tossed prayer and the 10 commandments out?

Yep, god allows kids to be killed for something adults have done, apparently. I guess it doesn't matter if many of the kids and their families are godly people. Of course, read the bible--god has never been against mass killing of children if it suits his purposes.

Edited to add: Google Bath School disaster. 1927. 38 elementary school children killed by crazy bomber.

The lesson is that there are batsheet crazyazz morterforkers in this world. They do completely incomprehensible evil things for reasons normal folks of all levels of faith can never understand.

People have done unspeakable evil for religious reasons, and for reasons unrelated to religion. When a crazy mother drowns her four kids in a bathtub because god told her to, I don't for a moment believe all religious people would do that--only the batsheet crazy ones.

According to the link, "God does not go where he is not wanted". Jesus went to Jerusalem and was crucified so that statement is obviously false. The link further argues God let those children die because he is pouting about lack of respect. That's a real petty God who, if he exists, does not deserve worship or even respect. He deserves nothing but contempt.

God = The mentality of the believer.

That is why there are so many versions and doctrines.

God is whatever we think God is, and then we preach it with the backing of the scriptures.

Right on the money. God with narcissistic psychological problems needs therapy, not worship.
