Springfield 1911(s) price check

A gunshop around here has a Springfield 1911 milspec new for $619 and a Springfield 1911 Range Officer used but excellent condition for $700. I remember when mil specs were $550 new, but are these prices good nowadays?

You must go back and buy them both!!!

750 for the Mispec, and 900 for the RO was the new normal here not that long ago.

Very recently bought a brand new Mil Spec for $600.00. The RO brand new at the same shop is $740.00. The loaded is $780.00. I think this shop has excellent prices.

In my area, that is an excellent price on the RO. Average price I see in ATL is $800 and up. I love mine and was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time and snagged it for $560 shipped.
