S&W 1911SC for Christmas
Just got this for Christmas..looking for the Ohio weather to break a bit to take it out and break it in..anyone else own and have any comments?

Congrats, have the SC in all black, but 1st gen, great gun no issues, was my EDC for a some time, maybe I'll get it back on daily duty again, enjoy yours.

Congrats, Im a big fan of these Scandium 1911's S&W has put out over the years. The S&W 1911 PD is one of my favorite production 1911's. Let us know how you like it after you shot it, enjoy

Same here. Of all the 1911's I've owned over the years, the scandium framed S&W was the only one that didn't feel like a brick on my hip at the end of the day.
Your bobtailed version is "the bomb".

Nice good luck with it. Same here i just got a new Ruger SR1911 & waiting for the NYS Snowy Winter weather to break also to break mine in as well.

Got a Gunsite edition.
It packs a pretty good punch.
If I shoot it alot, the web of my hand gets sore.
Pretty light weight for a 1911.
Great pistol. Congrats.
