Iv'e read in a couple different books that it's a good idea to already have a lawyer in mind that you know has experience with self defense shootings and incidents and to have their business card so you can get ahold of them if something happends. Can you recommend a good experienced lawyer to me? I live in Southern Ohio. Thanks!

Not off the top of my head. However, Armed Citizens Legal Defense Network has selected attorneys around the country who have experience with this sort of case, and refer their members to them.

Second Amendment Foundation also has a list of recommended lawyers.

A third option is to contact your local police officers' or deputy sheriffs' union to ask what lawyer they retain for their members should they be wrongfully accused in a shooting. A lawyer who knows how to handle an officer-involved shooting case, knows most of what he needs to know to handle an armed citizen defendant in a similar shooting.
