BARTH! Need a size comparison.

Thinking real hard about trying to trade out my OD G-26 for a P-2000K, IIRC you have both. Anyway I could get a pic(dumb question) Of your 27 and a P2000K for size comparison?

I think the P2000SK sub compact is about the same size as a G27.
P2000 is closer to a G19 - IMHO.

Thanks, I meant the SK. From what I can gather they are close in size, I'd just rather carry the HK.

This thread is making me wanting P2000SK.....
I actually went to a LGS to take a look. It was nice.

It seems it is a little taller than baby Glock (almost same as G30 w/ 9 rounds magazine: my EDC).

I want shorter grip EDC for non jacket weather so the baby Glock was the choice.
The hight of P2000SK does not make sense for this purpoae but I want one.

How bad is it having different platforms for EDC (Glock & HK)?
I feel I should stay with Glock, and I know nothing about HK.

I was set to get GEN4 G33 & GEN4 G30.
Now I am going back and forth....

I should not have read this thread nor been to the LGS.

If you go for a P2000SK I would recommend the LEM V2 trigger.
It's the same pull every time.
More like a Glock except with miles of pre-travel.
I transitioned easily.
Changing factory springs you can adjust the trigger pull from ~8lbs, to ~7, ~6 or ~5.

After reading the title I almost didn't want to view this thread but since it wasn't locked, I figured what the heck.

I'm majorly disappointed!

On a serious note, I have both the Glock 27 and P2000sk in LEM standard.

While I really like both guns I prefer the HK (naturally.)

The only gripe I have with the P2000 (yes, that's right. I have a gripe with a HK product!) is the mag release tends to dig into my middle finger with this gun for some reason.

It might just be me but although it's slightly uncomfortable, it doesn't inhibit my ability to shoot the gun well!

To be fair, I haven't tired it with any of the other back straps so it might change with a different fit.

Well, when your the only female present in a shop full of concupiscent men, you have no choice but to acquire a, "Alternative" sense of humor.

It's a, "Think of it before they do" kind of thing. Call it a defense mechanism.

If I talked about some of the things that come out of their mouths on a daily basis, I'd get banned!

I'll let you use your imagination.

My second thought, your better off not to!

Did you go with the extended mag release?
It's a must have upgrade with the P2000 IMHO.

357 Sig and 40 S&W are.
The mags are identical, including followers, other than markings.
For a while H&K sold the 357 Sig model with an addional 40 S&W barrel included.

with the large back strap the finger digging goes away but I use it with the small back strap and no finger extension on the mag.
