Great String of Luck Lately

1. Picked up a Gen 2 G19 for $300. Black Talon ammo and a soft case.
2. G19 actually likes my lead loads as is. Stock barrel. That is a first.
3. Got a Xmas gift. Dillon Calender. Wow.
4. Free 5 gallon bucket of wheel weights.
5. Woke up to the sound of my home brew Octoberfest beer bubbling. Nice it's alive.

Not a bad little run. All but number 1 was within the last 24 hours.

You call temps in the teens, single digit wind chills and another canceled match good luck?

I am going to resort to shooting indoors today.

A cold day shooting is better than a good day working!

I always thought all the fuss over the Black Talons was pretty comical. Winchester just left the lubalox coating off and made the talons bigger on the newer versions. The people making the fuss were too dumb to notice.

The fact it shoots my lead bullets makes me the happiest. It's nice to not have to buy a KKM or similar.

We have a local Brewery supply house that customs makes the kits. Zombie Steve is the Brew Miester. Essentially, Grains for 55mins, bittering hops for 5mins, liquid yeast, ferment in cold room, rack a couple times, last time into sugar. Let it carbonate for a couple weeks. Old west brewery supply in Colorado springs. Sub out the dry yeast for liquid yeast is the hot ticket..
