Does anyone here use the Smartcarry system? I am looking for a way to carry my Kahr PM9 or Ruger LCP underneath a pair of sweatpants or "warm-up pants" as well as jeans.

I have looked at Smartcarry's website and they list a standard and a security model. The extra pockets in the security model is intriguing but I wonder if it adds "just enough" extra thickness to make this system questionable.

Love my smartcarry. I did not opt for the security model. Typically carry my LCP or my Shield 9mm.

*Check out technaclip.com. Works perfect to keep the LCP from shifting around when you are active.

I opted for the standard model. I would put extra mags, flashlights etc in more conventional and accessible pants pockets. Once you've drawn the handgun, going back into the Smartcarry with one hand (the weak hand no less) to fetch a spare mag or light, is a bit impractical.

I have and use the SmartCarry security model.
Very comfortable, easy to use, ad most times I "forget" about it.
No, there is no noticeable extra thickness, to me it is the same as the regular SmartCarry. I just like the security model better. Have been using it daily for many years now. Sometimes even raise it and use it like an IWB holster.
Quality made, very good, no make that excellent product.
You may never use the back pocket, but if you want to, it's there.
