Anyone else buy themselves a new GLOCK for Christmas?

I bought a Glock 26 gen. 3 today at Cabelas. Had a tough time deciding whether to spend the extra 80 bucks for the Gen 4 mod, 26. They both felt equally as good in my hand. I picked up an extended mag giving it 2 extra rounds over the mags provided giving it a 12 + 1 capacity. It looked clean enough to shoot right out of the box, so my wife and I shot half a box (was getting dark and cold) of 115 gr, Remington FMJ. It shot very well with no issues. We both love it. We also shot my wife's Kahr CW 9. They are really pretty similar in size. Kahr is 8 + 1 with extended mag over original 7 shot mag. I really wanted them to be that way so we could pick either up and hit something with and not have to refamiliarize ourselves with a totally different gun. Here's some pics comparing it to the Kahr CW 9 and my Glock 36 .45cal.

Anyone know if this is the biggest capacity mag made for the G26?
Thanks for looking.

I've got a gen 3 G27 which I love. In fact, if I could only have one handgun it would have to be a G26/G27. With the extended grips you can hold onto the gun better for use at the range or home defense. It's also excellent to carry with the flush mag. I've carried my G27 for years.

All of the Glock 9mm mags should work for your G26, even the 33 round G18 mags. They look a little weird sticking out of a baby Glock, but they do fit.

I have all the Glocks I need... for now. If I find a PPQ I'll snag it though.

Just got a gen 4 G17 to compliment the gen 4 G22.
It shoots great but I still enjoy the G22 more.

There's one at the LGS that I might pick up on Friday if it's still there and I can get it at a good price...

I have a sudden craving for a 17. I'd probably pick up a Glock 30S too if they were available.

I located a G30SF at a gun dealer 20 miles away, agreed on a price and was beginning to fill out the paperwork when he noticed I lived across the state line. He told me which FFL I would be going through and there would be an additional 35 charge. I took that as a sign to wait for the Gen4 and backed out.

Not for myself, yet! But I picked this USA Gen 4 19 for my brother for Christmas. I really want the same for myself and will probably pick one up before the 24th.

I just picked up a Gen4 G26 last week, kind of a Christmas present I guess. It's going to be my CCW, but I'm still waiting on my background check to finish up so I can get my CCW license. Shot it once so far, put about 60 rounds of 124 grain ammo through it without a hitch. Also got two 17 round mags for range shooting. At the same time I picked this gun up, I also got a Ruger Mark III .22 target pistol for plinking. Last month I purchased my first Glock, a Gen3 G21, and it replaces my venerable S&W .357 revolver for home protection duty. Got a Streamlight TLR1 for it and like it so much I'll probably get one for the G26 (but no lower rail? I wonder how...)

I'm thinking about getting the Raven Phantom IWB system that would fit a G26 with an TLR1 light. Haven't really made my mind 100% up about that. (Edit: I forgot about no accessory rail on the G26, oh well, no biggy...)

BTW, does anybody know if the Raven Vanguard I or II would fit the trigger guard of a full-size G21? Supposedly they only fit the .45GAP Glocks. I'd like one just to cover the trigger guard of the 21. Otherwise I'll just get some sort of cheap holster to keep it in my bedroom drawer (no kids here...)

Yes indeed!
I have a G32 Gen4 on order/layaway. Should have it in my grubby paws around the 1st of the year.

I took the wife to get her first glock on friday, she didnt feel comfortable with the grip of my gen 3 27 or the gen 3 19 at the store. because her hands are so small. She tried the gen 4 and still too big. Long story short she took home a walther pk380 and I got a new gen4 19! Haha also got her a CHL course next week.
