Great choice! Merry Christmas! I bought a Marlin 336 30/30 as a survival/hunting rifle.

Yes sir! Picked up a Dark Earth 23 gen 4. Can't wait till I can take it to the range. Santa threw in a couple extra 13 rounders also. It's going to be a very good Christmas.

Bought my stepdad a Glock 17 Gen3 for Christmas. Included in another present is the 33-round magazine, Uplula speedloader, a box of Remington 9mm 115gr and a box of Remington .38 for his revolver.

FINALLY bought myself my first glock. I think I've been a member here since 2004...
Gen 3 19. Shot a box through it the day I got it and its awesome. I can finally understand why you guys like these so much.
Actually, I've been going a little nuts with Christmas stuff for myself.
Mounted a Gunvault Speedvault to my bedside table, ordered 250 rounds of plinking 9mm, and some Gold Dots, AND ordered a 101 Holsters kydex and mag carrier...
Very tempted to apply for my CCW. Here in California it's not easy, but I live in a rural "will issue for personal protection" county.
Merry Christmas!

My wife is picking me up a 17 after the new year. I'm gonna have try and get a Gen3 but I'll take a Gen4 and be happy. It'll be my first Glock and I won't be able to touch it till summer, but at least I have something to look forward to.

Good man! The G19 is one of Glock's best efforts, IMO.
Merry Christmas to you also!

I will be buying a gen 4 g17 tomorrow. Cant wait!
I have a g21 that I bought this year and love it.
After the 17 I am most likely finished with my glock purchases for awhile. Might add a 19.

Merry Christmas To Me!
Well with all of the hoopla going on I thought I ought to go ahead and pick me up one before the price jumped in the near future. Also the LGS had a 10% discount for cash sales. So I got this Austrian G19 Gen 4 with serial TCLxxx and a test fire date of 06-15-2012. Put 100 Nato, around 75 Federal Wally World 115's and probably 10 Speer 124 GD +p's with out a hitch.

This afternoon, I bought a Glock 19 Gen4 Flat Dark Earth. It was the last one at Cabela's. I was going to get one eventually since it seems to be a great overall compromise of size and capacity.
I also bought a Ruger SR22 for plinking.
The wait some faced with the ATF was going on the order of several hours. Eventually, the ATF calls just did not go through.
Luckily, Kansas allows one to avoid the wait with a Kansas CCL. I still waited an hour for the processing. It gave me a chance to shop.
The president has encouraged me to buy several guns over his 4 first years. Now, I am stocked for a while.
