The Kentucky Gun Co has G17, G22, G29 and G35's all in stock. Not bad prices either with the craziness going on.

Glock is officially 1 million pistols behind on its current orders. Around the beginning of the year they were around 800K behind. They are at a current production rate of 1 million pistols per year. They are still adding new orders every week that far exceed their production rate.

Your dealers stock depends on when they ordered, which they're likely getting from a distributors stock, which depends on when they ordered it, too.

Orders just 3 months ago were shipping in 4 months, from Glock to distributors. Now Glock is projecting 10 month+ lead times on new orders.

Individual orders routed through distributors aren't going to help anyone predict what their individual lead times will be, unfortunately.

Ordered: 12/22/12
Model: 2x G17's Gen4 (Blue Label)
Received: 1/2/12

Ordered: 1/11/13
Model: G19 Gen4 (Blue Label)
Received: 2/13/13 (Test Fire Date of 2/7/13)

This shop has told me they receive their orders directly from Glock. From my understanding they are the only Blue Label dealer in the state.

I ordered a G26 (Gen 3)and it took less than a week. The store I bought from is huge, not a big box/chain though, but they move a lot of product. Where I am going is, this is one of those stores that has buying power and can get what they want. With that said, they told me 2-4 months on Gen 4...

A civilian can buy a NEW blue label via GSSF program, or until recently as an armorer.

Of course. But...a civilian can buy a blue label off of someone that purchased it new as a retired military person?

Yes but usually not selling for a profit since the seller bought it at a discount indicated by blue sticker.

In NY I believe blue Label ship with Regular mags . not NY complient 10 round. so you would not be able to own the mags. and hell thats only good for 3 weeks then you can't buy any new 10 round mags.

How far behind are blue labels running?

For the past two years I've been torn on which gen. 4 to order... the 19 or 17. I already have a few of each in gen 3. So I 've decided I'm going to get one of each. With the discount (with my badge), it'll come out to around $850 for the two of them.

I called up the nearest LE Glock dealer near me and they said I could do everything over the phone but there is no way to say when they would be in because Glock is running 600K-700K pistols behind.

So I'm curious if anyone has gotten wind of the wait times for the blue labels?

Thanks!

Obviously? There is NO restriction on private sales.

You do know what a blue label Glock is, right? Actually, it's nothing. It's simply a program that allows LEO's and other eligible people to buy a discounted gun, there's nothing "special" about them.

Now.... Glock would frown on someone buying blue label guns and then turning around and selling it on the open market trying to make money out of the deal. That's against the spirit of the program.

But as far as buying a used blue label Glock.... there's nothing "illegal" about selling it. pssh.

Depends a lot on when your particular LE dealer placed his orders. If my local LE dealer is anything to go by, an order placed now MIGHT be fulfilled by December!

Seriously?

I mean I'm not in a rush. To be honest, these are probably going to sit with the seal unbroken for another 20yrs until my boy is old enough to have/use them.

I just want to make sure I get them because the price is so good plus I'm VERY confident in the next 20years the price will go up, the availability may go down, and the laws will get more intense.

Oh well, I've waited longer for my class III toys.

Thanks

Hey EMT - My LGS took my deposit for an LE G4 G19 and it they had it in about 3 weeks. No idea how many they had ordered, if I just got lucky or what. The deposit was taken around mid Jan.

Just making sure since I never, until recently, had an opportunity to buy one from an individual. Why the attitude?

Call around to other blue label dealers in your state. I had to call the three that Florida has. I found one that had the 27 in stock (last one) and its being shipped right now to my ffl. 500 even including tax shipping and night sights plus 25 for ffl transfer. Not bad.

Man, its hard to say. I know I have had to wait several months for a blue label. Just depends on when they get made... but those two are 2 of the most frequently made, so I wouldn't think it would be too long.

About this time last year I got my G23. My LE Dealer took the order over the phone and called me ~ three weeks later when it arrived.

Now days, it may take a bit longer, who knows....

Good luck.

I went to my LGS back in December when all the madness started to get out of control and ordered my blue label Glock 22.... Had it in about a week, and that is in NYS.
