Another "Found a G19 Gen4 at gun show for ridiculous price"
At a local gunshow today in the south and found one dealer in the whole building who had 2 Gen4 19's for the low price of $699. Snatched up right before my eyes and they were happy to get them.
I will be glad when this madness ends.

Same as any other glock. Blue label guns aren't a separate production run. Next disbursement is Aprilish. They have I've a million back ordered now.

I called up the nearest LE Glock dealer near me and they said I could do everything over the phone but there is no way to say when they would be in because Glock is running 600K-700K pistols behind.
So I'm curious if anyone has gotten wind of the wait times for the blue labels?
Thanks!

I guess if one really really wanted one it would be better to find one at that price than none at all. Oddly, or perhaps not, I will go into the column that does not want one at that price.

I doubt it's that bad for any real stocking dealer. I think I was told at the Orlando match to expect up to 3 months wait for a prize pistol. I'd guess LE dealers get them that fast or faster. So, if you were to order one and the dealer had to wait for it, maybe late May or early June at worst?
If I were you, I'd call around to all the LE stocking dealers I could find (B&H, Coles, and the other Tampa/Clearwater one who's name escapes me at the moment, and Lou's if you're willing to go as far as Miami for it) and see if any of them have what you want in stock and will hold it if you say you're coming for it.

I bought my 26 Gen4 back on the 12 for $559.99 at a local dealer. And I thought that was a little high.

Same here.
The Gen 4 G23 is my EDC, and I wish I had a backup Gen 4 to go with it.
I'm confident this will pass, though, and I'll be able to get one in another 6 months or so with no problem.

Glad I have enough right now, there is no chance in hell I would pay the current asking prices.
I will be glad when this is over, sick of not being able to find anything, or its priced 2x what it should be.

I just want to make sure I get them because the price is so good plus I'm VERY confident in the next 20years the price will go up, the availability may go down, and the laws will get more intense.
Oh well, I've waited longer for my class III toys.
Thanks

If you are buying Glock as an investment, you are walking down the wrong path. Glocks are tools, not investments. Buy gold or silver if you are looking for that.

You do know what a blue label Glock is, right? Actually, it's nothing. It's simply a program that allows LEO's and other eligible people to buy a discounted gun, there's nothing "special" about them.
Now.... Glock would frown on someone buying blue label guns and then turning around and selling it on the open market trying to make money out of the deal. That's against the spirit of the program.
But as far as buying a used blue label Glock.... there's nothing "illegal" about selling it. pssh.

In addition, the Blue Label guns usually ship with 3 mags instead of 2.

I bought my Gen3 17 brand new for $550 which I thought was a little high. These people paying $700+ are insane!

I got an e-mail from Glock that it would be 90-120 days before I would receive my Blue Label Glock 19. I ended up just spending the extra money at the LGS when they got a gen 4 glock 19 in this morning.

I got a gen 4 g19 this AM for $549. I was shocked the price wasn't over $600. I had no problem paying $550 considering the LGS could have easily asked and gotten over $600. He wouldn't have gotten it from me, but I doubt the gun would've stayed on the shelf another day.

Not really an investment. I just want them. I've got the money now, I have the ability to still get them dirt cheap, and that way they'll just be down there waiting whenever I/We want/need them.
Thanks

Classic Arms and Archery in Lexington KY has 5 used G22's. They all have some holster wear but pricing was $439. Not too bad now days.
Antique & Modern Firearms also in Lexington has G21 factory refurbished Gen 4 for $519! I had to look twice as I saw the price on a Gen 4. Their Gen 4 new prices were at $579 I believe...worth checking out.

Guess it was a bad time for me to get into shooting.
579 at a LGS is what I paid for my G23, I found a few others for a bit more. No G19s anywhere.
Our local gun show is in one more week, hope I can get some more ammo at least.
