If the Glock pistols are priced insane like $500-$600, why don't you guys join GSSF? You would not get ripped off this way and would pay normal price.

I see Gen 3s in Ohio selling for 600-650...for like new ones. I suppose that's reasonable in view of the availability and no tax.

I just paid 600.00 for a 26gen4. I got 3mags. The dealer here charges 550.00 for anything other than a gen 4 but you only get 2 mags then. Seems fair to me in this market today. The guns cost more out here on the west coast. But for some reason we can get ammo if you jump when it comes in. My dealer post's arrivals of the ammo when it hits the dock, and you jump if you want it. If not it's gone by days end.

Is Cabelas still stocking FDE gen 4's?

First off, I'm not paying the rediculous online prices for a glock. Id rather find one locally for a normal price even if it takes months. Does anyone know If cabelas is still stocking fde Gen 4's? Before the craziness they were getting 19's and 23's in fde. I thought I read somewhere recently that they found a fde gen 4 at cabelas. I wonder if they'd order me one.....

I am not familiar with the "fde" abbreviation. If that is a law enforcement trade in I saw some Gen 3 G 21's at Cabella's in Gonzales LA 2 weeks ago.

The problem was they were asking $500+ for them and they looked very "used". Makes mine purchased from a LGS for $379 in Dec look really good.

FDE = Flat Dark Earth

I bought a Glock 19 Gen4 FDE in the Kansas City Cabelas, but it was the last one. Also, it was just before the frenzy buying was in full swing.

I was in the Cabela in Glendale last week and it had a full selection of Dark Earth Glocks. They were the only Glocks they had.

Probably, I've noticed when I see them they come in in groups. I had lust for the G26 that was there. None of them were there two weeks before, no Glocks were there at all two weeks before. But to answer the original question, they are still ordering them as of last week.

You think brass-in-your-face from Glock 19, 4th Gen is bad:

My wife sometimes gets hot brass down her blouse when she shoots my G19!

Questions bout selling my Glock

Im new to handguns & have owned my Glock for less than two months. I'm trying to sell my Glock 26 so I can get a 27. One guy has been contacting me asking questions & I'm curious why he's asking them. First, he ask about the date on the envelope of the discharge shells. That I assume he's looking for the manufacturing date. Correct? Second, he was asking about the numbers on the spring & ejector saying he was trying to make sure they weren't parts that were known to be bad in the gen4. I didn't know the gen4 had any problems. Is he being up front or pulling my chain? Thanks.

If you haven't fired a G27, you should just buy one, shoot it along side the G26 for a while, and *then* sell the one you dislike....or better yet, keep it as a backup.

If by chance you were to start shooting GSSF competition in the future, you'll likely wish you had kept the G26. Also, women tend to prefer the G26 too.

I don't recall any complaints about the Gen4 G26's. Go ahead and answer his questions if it makes him feel better, but I think his worry is unfounded.

What's wrong with your G26? I think you are about to make your first "I'm new to handguns" mistake if you sell it...

If you want a .40 my advice is to get a G23 in addition to it.
