I have had one bad experience with an FFL in 23 years of buying new firearms. On that occasion, I was sold a used firearm for new. Now, if I am not allowed to field strip a firearm represented as new when applicable, I smile and take my business elsewhere. If the dealer does not have the correct box, I am walking. I learned my lesson. If the firearm does not have the matching container, how can you be sure beyond a shadow of a doubt it is not used short of calling Glock and running the serial number? Even then, if the pistol warranty has not been registered, you cannot be sure. Even last year where I live, the average time for new Gen. 4's on the shelf was 8 hours with the dealer I used.

The dealer should have done that days ago. Sketchy, sketchy and more sketchy.

Black is beautiful!

Think about it. The 27 is black. The 30s is black. Never have them both in view at the same time around your wife. Problem solved.

I love the 27.....keep it for sure!

Things to think about,
45 ammo prices are much higher right now
The G30S is very hard to find.
I would keep what you have and save up for the G30S.
My G30 is sitting right now because I refuse to pay that much for the ammo to feed it!

You could really man-up and sell that little G27, and buy a man's gun in a man's caliber...A G21..

479.99 - 499.99 + tax for GEN3 Glocks around here.

Things have been slim around here, but in the past week alone,
the number of Glocks on shelves has been increasing nicely.

It does seem odd thaqt they would not have the orginal box, but there may be a legitimate reason. Or maybe not. But the difference in what could be had by selling the gun after it has been fired and owned for a couple years between having the case and not having the case would be nothing compared to factors such as the location and whether it is a private sale or to a dealer.

A month or so ago I called my LGS and asked if they had a 19 and the answer was yes. Told them I would be in the next day to get it. Did the same thing this week for a G22. Not problem getting one in my area.

The 22 is my first dark earth Glock. They also had a gen 4 21 in Dark earth but I had my heart set on the .40 caliber.

Thanks for the info. Wow, what a terrible time to start a gun shop!

Lol. My thoughts exactly! Those look way too much alike to come clean about having two pistols.

Daddy? Is that you?

I have a 27. I carry it a ton and would not get rid of it for a 30 anything.

What does it matter? I pull the little case label off all my cases and put them in a file. If I sell a Glock I just grab a case and put it in the case and sell it.

Bad Influences

"short cut" posted a link to a batch of fde Glocks that were available for sale through gunbroker. I had been wanting a full size .45 to pair with a 30sf I picked up last month. Here she is, gen 4 G21 with a test fired date of Feb 25th. Came with 4 backstraps, 2 of which have beaver tails. Surprisingly, they feel pretty good. I also noticed the finish is different on the slide...when did this happen?
