This is some good information for responding to the liberal nuts.
However, as I was looking at the Blaze article, it seems to have disappeaered. The link is the same, but now the page just shows me a tiny version of the graph, with no text, and the title has changed to a string of random numbers and letters. What's that about?
The chart from the UCR is very interesting - more than twice as many people killed by unarmed attackers as by rifles.

But only if we utilize a "common sense" ban of military looking hands and feet, which as we all know, have no place in our society. Certainly we do not need dreaded Steel Toe Black Assault Boots with high lace up ankle support when pink ballerina slippers or open toe birkenstocks will perform the same task and make us all feel safer. Govt approved mittens with all digits combined, as opposed to high digit capacity gloves.
It's Common Sense.

So you're excusing what happened in Conn because more people were killed in a different way?
Sad, really.

Not excusing, but looking deeper into the root causes of why mass killings like what happened in CT happen, and what we can really do about it.
Children and more died in this recent massacre. It's terrible. It's equally terrible that the same number of children and adults will die today, right now, in other countries around the world for reasons just as unfathomable and meaningless.
As an isolated incident, any death of a close friend or family member, or any innocent, is a sad thing. A tradegy, and no matter who died or how they died, we search for meaning. We search for the who, what, and the why. Anyone who has ever lost someone close, in circumstances "unnatural," can attest to this.
Why then, due to a few more instances of terrible tradegy, do we, as a people, insist on taking away the rights of hundreds of millions of people and further empowering the possibility of tyranny? Why do we do this?

So you're coming back with more of your liberal anti-gun nonsense?
Seems like every time somebody points out that assault weapons or guns are not a problem, and are only perceived as one because of the current shooting and the media, you come back and try to shut them up by claiming they are trying to "excuse" the Newtown shooter. In context, your response doesn't even make sense. First you claim that 27 kids getting killed with a rifle is worse than thousands killed by drunk drivers, now showing that people are killed more often with no weapon than with an assault rifle, is trying to "excuse" Lanza.
This place had enough anti-gun liberal trolls without you.
