And please don't lump us upstate/western New Yorkers in with the libtarded NYC. Believe me we're all praying for an earthquake to break that wretched city off because this ban will affect those of us who actually have some gun rights, more than the city dwellers.

I feel bad for you NYers.
I'm probably not going to be any better off, though. I live in CA.
Gun owners nationwide should stand together against anti-gun laws, even if they're in states like CA, NY, and IL. Rights are taken away slowly, one piece at a time. If you sit by and say, "They deserve to lose their guns. They live in New York," who is going to stick up for you when you are the last person left with legal guns?

First off I don't have an extra $25,000 laying around to buy elsewhere, and secondly if it weren't for downstate and the city dwellers, NY wouldn't be a bad place to live. Born and raised here, and the family's all here. And just because I'm from NY doesn't mean I won't fight just as hard for gun rights as you Southern folks.
