SOG NW Ranger Sheath Options

I picked up a Sog NW Ranger 2.0 last week. I love the blade, balance, grip, basically everything about the knife.

Unfortunately, as all the reviews indicate, the sheath is next to useless.

I've searched online and the only kydex sheaths for it seem to be custom jobs that require you send the knife to them. I could try making my own, but I have enough projects on my to-do list and would rather purchase one. Does anyone know of a slim kydex sheath maker for the NW Ranger?

Also, has anyone tried putting the NW Ranger in a kydex sheath for a Sog Seal Pup or Seal Pup Elite? How about a sheath for a Cold Steel SRK?

I need some options. Any Ideas?

Try researching on ebay or bladeforums. These are the sites where entrepreneurial types who make kydex sheaths seem to hang out.

Yes. I looked for quite a while for non custom made kydex sheaths and was able to find them, eventually.

I make kydex sheaths, and while it's not difficult to do, it does take some practice.

Cheap solutions on horizontal sheaths!!

I had a Ka Bar short blade come in. After examination, I realized that I could not use the prior video on converting Ontario Kydex sheaths to become horizontal.

Darn. So I started looking on youtube - although I would prefer a kydex horiztonal sheath, I found this video on two alternatives to make the vertical sheath horizontal.

Bingo, now I have seen how to use 550 cord to make some, if not all vertical kydex sheaths into horizontal sheaths.
