Any Underwood lovers here ?

I love the performance to price ratio on all of Underwoods ammo products. Just like all other manufactures they are out of most product.

Does anyone know or have figured out, when they update the website on products that they have in stock ? i.e. After 8am EST M-F ...

I tried to look at different times of the day during the week but have not figured out when they tend to update the website with in stock items.

50 Rnds for the price of 20 is fantastic.

Don't know if I would go so far as love, but Mr. Underwood does make a fine product. All the 9mm I've used performed really well.

To defray shipping cost I have to buy at least 5 boxes which is ok with me. I was charged $25 for shipping (last Oct '12 )

Whether one or five boxes. So five it was.

FYI- these are Bonded JHP not just JHP available in standard. +P or +P+ pressures for nearly the same price, if not the same.

No I have no interest in Underwood but I do love a great product at a great price.

I recently bought 150 rounds of .357sig from them and had 4 rounds out of 50 fail to fire until a second strike. Totally unacceptable for self defense ammo. I still have 100 rounds left but I'll continue to carry Winchester PDX-1, thats for sure. Sucks because the price was great....

If you saved any of those rounds (duds), it would be interesting if you contacted them to see if they would do anything. i.e. request you send them back for eval etc...

I have wondered in the past, when people have failures, if they ever contacted the manufacturer and then what happened. I agree that self defense ammo it must be as near to 100% as possible. Nothing is 100%.

We do contact our gun makers when things go bad but why not our bullet makers? Its just as critical.

Completely agree, why not contact Underwood before running to the message boards? Seems like common courtesy to me. At least give the company a chance to make it right.

I emailed them a few hours ago. The rounds were not saved because they all fired after a second strike. Regardless of whether I post my results with the ammo before or after I speak to them; what happened, happened. Nearly 10% of the ammo fired was bad. Regardless of what they tell me or do for me...

I've fired close to 15,000 rounds of assorted 9mm and .40 Winchester/Federal/Remington with ZERO failures, and 5,000 rounds of .45 with 4 bad primers in ONE box of 250. This was probably just a bad run of primers...

I will post my progress after their reply, as well as after the other 100 rounds of ammo.

I bought several boxes before the rush for testing purposes. I kinda wish I had bought more on that initial order since I can't get any of the 40 or 45 stuff now for testing.

Best bet is to Like them on Facebook. They will post when components come in and they have inventory.

Please let us know what happens.

I've used their .357 and .44 mag ammo and it seems like pretty potent stuff. Was hoping to bag a deer with their 300gr 44 mag ammo last season, but never had a deer cross my path.

i've found underwood ammo recently, and their prices on (real) 10mm ammo are simply the best out there.

I've always had positive experiences with their ammo; here's a couple gel tests I've done of their stuff:

Underwood claims to make some ultra-high speed 9mm ammo. +p+
