New to me Glock 19

I just traded a Gen 3 Glock 21 for a Gen 3 Glock 19 and when i got home I noticed it had strange markings on the barrel, slide, frame. It has NPv on the barrel, slide, and frame, and AOH on the barrel. It also has Glock Inc. Smyrna GA on the bottom of the trigger guard.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before but i searched and didnt see an answer. Can someone enlighthen me on these markings? The serial # begins KVE so thats 02/2009 right? it looks like the person who had it installed an extended mag release but it sticks out WAY to far so i want to change it. Is that something i can order and do myself? And is it worth any more than any other G19?

Thanks for any help and I'm sorry if this has been covered before.

No idea but hoping you enjoy your "new" G19.

Looks like an Austrian proofed one. But the pix looks fuzzy when I blow it up on my cell.

You have an Austrian proof pistol. Basically the pistol was manufactured to not come to the USA and then some time later, most likely to meet demand, imported to the USA. I have one just like it.

Don't sell it. It is some what a collector piece. Not a safe queen by any means or worth more money (maybe a little), shoot it as much as you want, but there are people out there looking for Austria proof pistols, especially a 19.

And i do intend to shoot it and may use it as my EDC along with my Sig Scorpion 1911.

Yeah, it's simple to change out. I tried a Lone Wolf extended mag catch that stuck out too far, so I went back to the original part. It's not all THAT bad.

I understand that Glock offers an extended mag catch. It may work better than the LW, but I can't say for sure.
