Ordered a set of Trijicon HD sights today for my M&P. I opted for the orange front sight. I was told it might be late next week before they arrive. I was originally going to get XS big dots but I opted for these instead. Figured they would be just as fast to acquire but would offer more precision for shooting at longer range or at smaller targets. My gun pulls double duty as HD and range gun. I also liked the blacked out rings around the rear sight vials. Rear sights dots are really not needed and only detract from your front sight picture for daylight shooting. Will post an update when they arrive and are installed on my pistol.

I was just about to order a set myself. I was looking hard at TruGlu TFOs as well, but due to several thread mentioning durability issues I went with the HDs.

I'll be sure to let you know. The sights have arrived but I haven't went and had them installed on the gun yet.

Brownell's just shipped my Trijicon HD sights (green/yellow/green) today for my G26.

Hope to have them installed soon.

The owner of my local gun store installed them for me, he did it in less then 10 min and has the tools and experience I initially went to him to buy the sights because it would include the install. But his system showed them as back ordered with no expected delivery date. Brownells had them to me in three days.

The orange front sight is very prominent and easily acquired even with my aged eyes. My next big range day isn't until April, I will put them through the paces then.

Finally got my sights installed today. They are very nice and the orange front dot stands out very well against most backgrounds and in most lighting conditions. However, under certain conditions it is hard to see. Tritium vials are bright. However, the photo luminescent paint does not light up well. It is very dim even if you hit it with a flashlight. I think they should make a version of these with a plain white dot in the front. They would probably outsell both the yellow and orange. Maybe an XS standard dot front sight paired with a trijicon HD rear would be good if there wasn't height difference betwen the two front sights.

I got the yellow for mine, and the wife liked the orange. This way we both got what we wanted and we can tell the guns apart from just the front sight.
